Lalbagh Gardens
Haider Ali laid out this garden while Tipu Sultan added more plants and trees to it from other countries. The place has more than 1800 species of tropical, sub tropical, medicinal and floral plants. One of the four Kempe Gowda tower is situated in this garden. Flower shows are in this garden on Republic Day and Independence Day weeks

Government Museum
Set up in 1886, it is one of the oldest museums in the country. It has 18 galleries consisting of Neolithic finds from different civilizations, antique jewelry, textiles, coins, art and miniature paintings etc.

Bangalore Palace
The Bangalore Palace was constructed by King of Mysore, Chamaraja Wodeyar. He purchased the land from Rev. Garret and built a magnificent palace on it, in 1884. The architecture is in Tudor style. The design of this palace is draws inspiration from the Windsor Castle of England.

As Bangalore is a well developed city, it is linked to most parts of India. It has the international airport at Devenhalli which is approximately 27KM away from the city center. Kempegowda, KR puram, Yashwantpur and Yelehanka are its main railway stations that connect it to different cities.
