Lima, May 01 (ANDINA). Representatives of Peru's Trade and Tourism Ministry (Mincetur) will travel this month to the United States to attend the Senior Officials' Meeting 2 and Related Meetings of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.

The SOM2 and Related Meetings, the Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) Meeting, the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Ministerial Meeting, and the MRT-SME Ministerial Meeting will be held from May 7 to May 21, 2011 in Big Sky, Montana.

Peru's APEC Director Julio Chan and Mincetur officials Marcio De la Cruz and Sandra Herrera will take part in the organization's regular meetings.

The ministry aims to present new trade and investment promotion proposals in line with the national interests.
